Our latest wildlife rescue waddled right up to the front door and asked for help!

Meet Li (short for "liebre" -- which means "jackrabbit" in Spanish). Li is a baby jackrabbit and the newest patient at KLM’s wildlife rescue sanctuary. Amazingly, it turns out that Li the jackrabbit has something in common with the 18th century Venetian composer Antonio Lucio Vivaldi.

“Limpy,” our Brown Pelican who was found with a life-threatening curled foot that prevented him from fishing for food, is finally leaving rehabilitation after 4 weeks of tender loving care (and LOTS of sardines to eat)! Read about the amazing community effort that saved Limpy.

Keep Loreto Magical animal rescue efforts continue to expand and are both heart-warming and gratifying! Via a network of neighbors, we have built a support system to aid animals in distress in Loreto Municipality in Baja Ca Sur, Mexico.
